Noel Seide was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bottero Ruicerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Noel Seide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xines Bretal during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Haiti booed when UD ZAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xines Bretal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Haiti! After 46 minutes, Philippe Ambroise mouthed his way into the referee's book. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Philippe Ambroise to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, UD ZAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marquez Uncal to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 52 minutes, Philippe Ambroise managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haiti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Philippe Ambroise was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A very good chance. A sloppy throw-in by Rodney Emmanuel in the 84th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by UD ZAS's Marquez Uncal. Noel Seide made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Segio Lucas sent off a good shot on target. If Texeira Magdalena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute.
