Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baldomiro Txindoki having to make a save. Baldomiro Txindoki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 13th minute of the match. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the game, Iulian Pietreanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Petrică Cândreanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baldomiro Txindoki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orçun Yalınalp in the 27th minute of play. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Baldomiro Txindoki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 36th minute of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. Venezuela's Alex Chicote managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nils-Emil Hansson in the 46 minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mariano Jordy during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mariano Jordy kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Iulian Pietreanu scored 3-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilson Arósio's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of FC UNIREA Alba Iulia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Venezuela:s goal. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia:s Baldomiro Txindoki showed great skill when he stopped Tomas Illescas:s penalty. After a rather tough play, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Petrică Cândreanu got a free kick in the 67th minute. Baldomiro Txindoki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 68th minute. Tomas Illescas in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Baldomiro Txindoki, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orçun Yalınalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The FC UNIREA Alba Iulia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0.
