Răzvan Lipoveanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Răzvan Lipoveanu managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Răzvan Lipoveanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

51 minutes into the game, Anthimos Balopoulos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Héreg SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. Anthimos Balopoulos hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Răzvan Lipoveanu saved Héreg SC from getting behind. Ephraim Reeb didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Héreg SC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Răzvan Lipoveanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maarek Grattepanche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 79 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Valentín Carvallo. After 86 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Christian Sancho. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when László Honti tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 89th minute Héreg SC were awarded a corner. Aladár Újházi went to the cornerflag to take it. Răzvan Lipoveanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Simon Gervai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
