Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebio Mattin in the 4th minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Eusebio Mattin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa, 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, Ranelagh F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Francisco Behe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabian Ursino charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabian Ursino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fabian Ursino hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiro Ireno came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aristides Terciero. Francisco Behe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Armando Aznar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. 3-0 became the score in the 29th minute when Eusebio Mattin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eusebio Mattin in the 33rd minute. 45 minutes into the match, Eusebio Mattin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa, 4-0. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Behe having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armando Aznar to make the kick off. Francisco Behe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Francisco Behe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 61st minute of play. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Ranelagh F.C.'s Eusebio Mattin. But to his dismay, Eusebio Mattin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Ranelagh F.C.'s Cirilo Geofredo was substituted for Eusebio Mattin. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Geofredo in the 87th minute of play. Fabian Ursino was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 91 played minutes Ranelagh F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Ursino. 96 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo notched a goal, 6-2, to the right of Ranelagh F.C.'s Francisco Behe. Francisco Behe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ranelagh F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
