Ramon Pueblo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Ramon Pueblo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. 7 minutes into the game, Ramon Pueblo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Hugo Ferrant got a free kick in the 11th minute. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramon Pueblo in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Ramon Pueblo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With his leg Benito Sanz managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Ramon Pueblo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Ramon Pueblo sent off a good shot on target. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Ramon Pueblo scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 4-0. Ramon Pueblo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramon Pueblo in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the match, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Ramon Pueblo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Pueblo, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Ramon Pueblo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. 37 minutes into the match, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Cirilo Arlo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Big Hands took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Ramon Pueblo. But to his dismay, Ramon Pueblo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

The wind increased when Ramon Pueblo made the kick off in the second half. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Placido Gilabert quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hugo Ferrant, made in the 56th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Ramon Pueblo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. The BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Ramon Pueblo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Abel Carballo fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Abel Carballo a yellow card for diving instead. Abel Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when David Forsberg came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Ramon Pueblo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. A collision led to BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Chris Velde hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, Axel Tasis sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Big Hands threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Axel Tasis this time. 78 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Pueblo came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramon Pueblo's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. When Ramon Pueblo came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramon Pueblo couldn't finish the play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 83 minutes into the game, when Alexander Carballo put in a rough tackle. In the 84th minute there was a penalty for BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB. Cirilo Arlo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Benito Sanz. 11-0. Ramon Pueblo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Ramon Pueblo notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 95 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Pueblo came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
