In the 5th minute of the match Jonathan Alphonse sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enéas Mazza skillfully saved the ball. In the 6th minute, Philippe Ambroise reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Enéas Mazza. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 10th minute, Ernso Constant got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Alphonse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Enéas Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute Jonathan Alphonse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enéas Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enéas Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernso Constant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Carrapichel - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Alphonse came free, but Enéas Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Carrapichel - FDFDF's goalkeeper Enéas Mazza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Alphonse. Carrapichel - FDFDF's Enéas Mazza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Carrapichel - FDFDF from getting a goal against them. Róbson Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Seide having to interfere. Jonathan Alphonse's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Enéas Mazza skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Sidney Pires made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Haiti booed when Carrapichel - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Vasconcelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Erivaldo Botelho in the 56th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Haiti's Felix Dorval. Carrapichel - FDFDF's Enéas Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Alphonse in the 57th minute of play. When Ernso Constant fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Haiti's protests and gave Ernso Constant a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Carrapichel - FDFDF booed when Haiti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernso Constant didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Carrapichel - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Alphonse came free, but Enéas Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Carrapichel - FDFDF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jonathan Alphonse was slow to take the kick. During this time Haiti's players had a chance to rest. Jonathan Alphonse hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Jonathan Alphonse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carrapichel - FDFDF's attentive Fábio Umrihin managed to snatch the ball when Felix Dorval made a throw-in in the 81st minute of the game. Jonathan Alphonse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Enéas Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 86 minutes, Jonathan Alphonse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haiti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Alphonse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Haiti walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
