In the 5th minute, Ramon Pueblo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Pueblo in the 9th minute of play. Ramon Pueblo might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Nores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ramon Pueblo ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Cirilo Arlo sped through Paraguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. The supporters of Paraguay booed when BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorotheos Kakatsios didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Cirilo Arlo made a precise shot to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramon Pueblo in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramon Pueblo went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. In the 31stth minute of the game Ramon Pueblo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ramon Pueblo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dorotheos Kakatsios made in the 38th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Lakis Kaminaris. After 42 minutes of play, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Ramon Pueblo made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacobo Nores was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Pueblo in the 47th minute of play. After the first half BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute, Ramon Pueblo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Jacobo Nores was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Ramon Pueblo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ramon Pueblo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10. In the 59th minute, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Ramon Pueblo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. Ramon Pueblo in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jacobo Nores, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience was convinced that Ramon Pueblo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Ramon Pueblo kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 67thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Paraguay's keeper Jacobo Nores was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Ramon Pueblo might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Nores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ramon Pueblo ran back to his position shaking his head. Ramon Pueblo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Jacobo Nores made a huge save. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorotheos Kakatsios in the 72nd minute of the match. Dorotheos Kakatsios scored 0-12 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hector Covarrubias hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute Cirilo Arlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Jose Sanz. The crowd rose to their feet as Ramon Pueblo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jacobo Nores. That made the score 0-13 in the 90 minute of play. If Ramon Pueblo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
