Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Virgilio Loi took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd match minute, Tapebicuá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Maldonado to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tapebicuá's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abraham Alguacil was slow to take the kick. During this time Panama's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Abraham Alguacil almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tapebicuá's Alberto Lucian did a great save. In the 11th minute Virgilio Loi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Dylan Sarmiento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the game, Felipe Ros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tapebicuá the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Panama fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! In the 33rd minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Lucian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Alberto Lucian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robin Fagrell kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Dolberg came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Lucian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Berganza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Baltasar Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The supporters of Tapebicuá booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Cambeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Lucian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 55th minute of play. Panama's Abraham Alguacil got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alberto Lucian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 70 minutes of play, Tapebicuá's Virgilio Loi made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnoldo Ignazio during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Abraham Alguacil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Lucian having to interfere. Alberto Lucian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 87th minute of play. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Dolberg in the 94th minute. Alberto Lucian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Tapebicuá were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Panama's much stronger midfield.
