Ariel Qwinton stood somewhat misplaced when Miguel Miralles came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 7 minute. Megistus's Ariel Qwinton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 10th minute of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Abraham Alguacil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abraham Alguacil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Panama booed when Megistus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adan Paio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ariel Qwinton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 13th minute of the match. A collision led to Megistus getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Atilano Escobar hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ariel Qwinton saved Megistus from getting behind. Tomas Berganza had several of the Megistus's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 16 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Ariel Qwinton as he didn't even see the shot coming. Megistus's Ariel Qwinton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Megistus's Leo Ondino got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Qwinton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adan Paio in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 27th minute of play forced Megistus's goalkeeper Ariel Qwinton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Panama's Abraham Alguacil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ariel Qwinton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Megistus's goalkeeper Ariel Qwinton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abraham Alguacil. After 61 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Dylan Sarmiento. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Ondino in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Johans in the 71st minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Constantino Johans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ariel Qwinton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the game, Tomas Berganza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0.
