Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Edgard Chayo hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tapebicuá's goalkeeper Alberto Lucian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Panama's zone, Cristian Dolberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal and Cristian Dolberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Panama's Alberto Lucian threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomas Berganza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Alberto Lucian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute of the match Panama got a corner. Tapebicuá's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abraham Alguacil ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 15 played minutes Tapebicuá got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Loi. 16 minutes in the game, Tomas Berganza dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 18th minute Virgilio Loi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Ros to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Ignazio in the 29th minute of the match. After 31 minutes, Virgilio Loi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tapebicuá and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st match minute, Tapebicuá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Loi to maneuver through the defense. After 34 minutes of play, Tapebicuá's Cristian Dolberg made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Dolberg in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Cotilla saved Panama from getting behind. Tomas Berganza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alberto Lucian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. The supporters of Panama booed when Tapebicuá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Dolberg didn't get a good kick on the ball.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Virgilio Loi to make the kick off. Alberto Lucian came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Tomas Berganza. But to his dismay, Tomas Berganza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Cristian Dolberg came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Tapebicuá fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Dolberg couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Tomas Berganza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alberto Lucian was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. In the 65th minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alberto Lucian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 66th minute of the match. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, Tapebicuá's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Alguacil came free, but Alberto Lucian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Lucian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 75th minute of play forced Tapebicuá's goalkeeper Alberto Lucian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tapebicuá's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abraham Alguacil was slow to take the kick. During this time Panama's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Abraham Alguacil almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tapebicuá's Alberto Lucian did a great save. Robin Fagrell was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 78 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of Tapebicuá:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Panama:s goal. Abraham Alguacil placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Panama's Dylan Sarmiento got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 90th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthew Garrido to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Miguel Miralles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
