Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Virgilio Loi started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Tapebicuá's Alberto Lucian got control of the ball when Isidoro Sarmiento tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Lucian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Isidoro Sarmiento notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Tapebicuá's Alberto Lucian. Alberto Lucian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Virgilio Loi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. Tapebicuá's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Abraham Alguacil scored to the left of an out of position Alberto Lucian, making the score, 2-1. 23 minutes into the match, Tapebicuá's goalkeeper Alberto Lucian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Sarmiento. Dylan Sarmiento charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dylan Sarmiento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dylan Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute of the match, Tomas Berganza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alberto Lucian saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidoro Sarmiento got free with Alberto Lucian in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alberto Lucian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Lucian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Berganza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Alex Cambeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alberto Lucian was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Alberto Lucian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Loi came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Berganza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alberto Lucian having to make a save. In the 70th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Lucian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Tapebicuá's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Alberto Lucian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Tapebicuá getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Alberto Lucian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 94th minute of the match. Alberto Lucian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Panama players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
