A collision led to Stone City getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Fabio Vigil hit a great ball. 12 minutes in the game Macos Graciani did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Joel Gaona. After 13 minutes, Joel Gaona made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Stone City's Dragomir Marchovski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th minute, Luca Rouco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pavel Balc in the 20th minute. After 22 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Pavel Balc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Derek Yu sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 40th minute of play forced Stone City's goalkeeper Dragomir Marchovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dragomir Marchovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Macos Graciani hit a great ball. Stone City's Dragomir Marchovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute Pavel Balc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th match minute, Stone City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerhart Blegsø to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute, Facundo Cadaval made a precise shot to the right of Dragomir Marchovski. Stone City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luca Zorita in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dragomir Marchovski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 91st minute of play forced Stone City's goalkeeper Dragomir Marchovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Stone City fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
