Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with 石常磊 in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 7th minute Aírton Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Joshua Secada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, 江苏YZJ联队's 刘鹏洲 got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 14thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 江苏YZJ联队's 石常磊 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. 石常磊 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Aírton Leite cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Venezuela's Tomas Illescas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 石常磊. That made the score 1-1 after 32 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with 石常磊 in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 38 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when 刘鹏洲 came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 刘鹏洲, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Aírton Leite made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aírton Leite made a kick off. Aírton Leite had several of the Venezuela's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 57 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Jonathan Ferrant as he didn't even see the shot coming. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raul Loramendi's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 刘鹏洲 in the 71st minute of the match. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raul Loramendi went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. 刘鹏洲 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aírton Leite in the 83rd minute. 93 minutes into the game, Jose Correa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 江苏YZJ联队 the free kick. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball.
