Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE the free kick. After 8 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Carballo. 11 minutes into the game, Arturo Constancio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 13 minutes, Lautaro Puig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. The supporters of TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE's Arturo Constancio got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Cordeal in the 57th minute of play. Everardo Benino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Everardo Benino came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Everardo Benino couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute Everardo Benino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Everardo Benino notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 84 minutes, Delmiro Estebano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE's Cosme Piorno got control of the ball when Axel Tasis tried to sneak it across the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE had played much better football throughout.
