After 11 minutes, Nilmar Coelho made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Edmundo Vaz kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Tomas Illescas made a precise shot to the right of José Paulo Bezerra. UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 22nd minute of play forced UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's goalkeeper José Paulo Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 36 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. José Paulo Bezerra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nilmar Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's Nilmar Coelho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 46 minutes of play, UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's İbrahim Ibrahimovic made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilmar Coelho in the 54th minute of the match. José Paulo Bezerra stood somewhat misplaced when Tomas Illescas came free in front of goal and shot 4-4 to the left of him in the 64 minute. Edmundo Vaz made in the 70th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which İbrahim Ibrahimovic however managed to control. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilmar Coelho in the 72nd minute of play. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but José Paulo Bezerra made a huge save. A hard shot 86 in the game by Tomas Illescas from a close distance when the talented José Paulo Bezerra managed to make a qualified save. UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's players were relieved. 93 minutes into the game, Edmundo Vaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. The supporters of Venezuela booed when UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmundo Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
