Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mon Navarro Montoya. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louis Alebio in the 35th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Abram Sarmiento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mon Navarro Montoya was relentless in the 36th minute of the game.
