Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) CERPA's Efrain Roldan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute there was a penalty for CERPA. In the 13th minute, Efrain Roldan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bruno Beldad's late challenge caught a CERPA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee ignored Uruguay's protests and gave Camilo Covarrubias a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th minute, Victoriano Tonete left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CERPA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Seco to make the kick off. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Roldan, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 57th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. Eugenio Asier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 71st minute of the match. During the 76th minute of the match Camilo Covarrubias completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Camilo Covarrubias a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Camilo Covarrubias hit a great ball. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Roldan in the 78th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Efrain Roldan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Gayoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. In the 84thth minute of the game Efrain Roldan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Uruguay booed when CERPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilhelm Volle didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when Efrain Roldan tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Efrain Roldan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Efrain Roldan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Efrain Roldan put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Joaquin Gayoso.
