In the 8th minute, Gurbax Gascon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Pablo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for El Salvador! The referee gave San Pablo FC a penalty, 21 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gurbax Gascon, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. 0-2. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gurbax Gascon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gurbax Gascon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicanor Sergi kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute of the match El Salvador got a corner. San Pablo FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mateo Leguizamo ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moises Fernandino made a kick off. After 53 minutes of play, San Pablo FC's Gurbax Gascon made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by El Salvador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gurbax Gascon was slow to take the kick. During this time San Pablo FC's players had a chance to rest. At last the ball reached Nicanor Sergi at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of El Salvador. 0-6. In the 66th minute, San Pablo FC's Gurbax Gascon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ricardo Zorita.
