Jarell Hill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urban Lund having to interfere. In the 57th minute Jarell Hill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urban Lund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leron Sale kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Jamaica defense, Eric Skarkman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demonde Jacobson. The Jamaica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demonde Jacobson should have stopped the shot. When Jarell Hill fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jamaica's protests and gave Jarell Hill a yellow card for diving instead. Jarell Hill kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Demonde Jacobson made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Jens Vestberg sent off a good shot on target.
