Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Flavio Cifuentes made the kick off and thus started the match. Zhang Hao Qing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Flavio Cifuentes came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Taltum FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Cifuentes couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Cifuentes in the 16th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Flavio Cifuentes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 22 played minutes Marcelo Cavenaghi rounded Ecuador's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luis Andino during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Cavenaghi got free with Julio Vera in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Flavio Cifuentes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavio Cifuentes in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. 36 minutes into the match, Flavio Cifuentes notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Daniel Zorita put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Zhang Hao Qing. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 56 minutes, Flavio Cifuentes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taltum FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio Cifuentes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Agustín Saelices recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Taltum FC made a substitution. Espinosa Marco replaced Marcelo Cavenaghi. Taltum FC made a substitution. Obregón Pardemanos replaced Flavio Cifuentes. After 65 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Andres Tufiño who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Andres Tufiño got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With his leg Zhang Hao Qing managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Obregón Pardemanos scored 5-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Obregón Pardemanos might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Obregón Pardemanos ran back to his position shaking his head. 72 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Obregón Pardemanos came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Obregón Pardemanos in the 74th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhang Hao Qing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's Obregón Pardemanos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
