Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Svetaslav Yanchyk got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Svetaslav Yanchyk tried to sneak it across the goal line. 4 minutes into the match, Libertad FC's Florentino Argina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Patricio Pisano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svetaslav Yanchyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Albino Urbes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Albino Urbes slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 15th minute. The audience was convinced that Albino Urbes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Florentino Argina struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Libertad FC. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Libertad FC's Albino Urbes. But to his dismay, Albino Urbes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 32 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Svetaslav Yanchyk. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Albino Urbes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Albino Urbes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 4-0 became the score in the 34th minute when Albino Urbes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Svetaslav Yanchyk got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 5-0. Patricio Pisano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albino Urbes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47thth minute of the game Svetaslav Yanchyk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Svetaslav Yanchyk in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute, Albino Urbes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Svetaslav Yanchyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Libertad FC's Svetaslav Yanchyk got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juan Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Svetaslav Yanchyk in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Svetaslav Yanchyk in the 68th minute of the match. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svetaslav Yanchyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Libertad FC's Florentino Argina got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Argina, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Svetaslav Yanchyk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Svetaslav Yanchyk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. 85 minutes into the game, Svetaslav Yanchyk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 90 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Svetaslav Yanchyk came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Libertad FC's Svetaslav Yanchyk in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. Honorio Telo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Svetaslav Yanchyk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot.
