The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tiago Gusmão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Tafalla in the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute Carlos Ovalle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Negm getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Sameh Saeed hit a great ball. Tiago Gusmão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Luca Espinar charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luca Espinar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Espinar to maneuver through the defense. If Leo Kalfhage had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tiago Gusmão was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. 24 minutes into the game, 傅森竞 recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lautaro Navarro. 傅森竞 showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 30 minutes into the game, 傅森竞 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Lautaro Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeu Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hashem Fares hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Negm's Tiago Gusmão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Tafalla in the 51st minute of play forced Negm's goalkeeper Tiago Gusmão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Negm's goalie prevented a goal. In the 60thth minute of the game 傅森竞 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tiago Gusmão made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Edmundo Espiga sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 66 in the game by Edmundo Espiga from a close distance when the talented Tiago Gusmão managed to make a qualified save. Negm's players were relieved. In the 69thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Negm's Tiago Gusmão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ivan Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Negm's Hatem Ibrahim was substituted for Tadeu Hoffmann. The supporters of Negm booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by 傅森竞 in the 81st minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 82 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Luca Espinar. In the 84th minute 傅森竞 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Villa to maneuver through the defense. Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Gusmão having to interfere. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hatem Ibrahim in the 92nd minute of play. After 93 minutes Honduras's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leo Kalfhage who took care of the corner kick. After having played for 94 minutes, Leo Kalfhage managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Negm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leo Kalfhage was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Negm's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
