Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. 傅森竞 started the match with the kick off. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Ronny Gummeson sent off a good shot on target. 6 minutes into the game, Leo Kalfhage recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Leo Kalfhage showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 9th minute, Tadeu Hoffmann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Leo Kalfhage tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 15th minute, Carlos Ovalle reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 3-0. Tadeu Hoffmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Carlos Ovalle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Ovalle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After 29 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. In the 30th minute, Leo Kalfhage made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeu Hoffmann in the 37th minute of play. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and 傅森竞 capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. 傅森竞 really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. Axel Tasis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Gusmão having to interfere. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 傅森竞, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Tasis made a kick off. Yousry Emam lost his temper 56 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 57th match minute, Negm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yousry Emam to maneuver through the defense. Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Negm's Leo Kalfhage got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Negm's goalkeeper Tiago Gusmão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 傅森竞 in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute Carlos Ovalle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Ovalle in the 73rd minute of the match. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Ovalle in the 74th minute of play. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 傅森竞 in the 76th minute of play. Negm's 傅森竞 managed to work through Costa Rica's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. 傅森竞 dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Tiago Gusmão made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Axel Tasis sent off a good shot on target. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Negm's 傅森竞 got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Ovalle in the 88th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Axel Tasis during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Negm booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Tasis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 傅森竞 scored 9-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Negm were the better team. Negm's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
