Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Colombia's Abram Sarmiento started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Pueblo FC's goalkeeper Boyd Winkler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abram Sarmiento. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vern Wright in the 4th minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Pueblo FC's Jaime McClendon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jaime McClendon scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Pueblo FC's Jaime McClendon got a free kick in the 10th minute. Boyd Winkler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Montenegro in the 12th minute. Jaime McClendon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Boyd Winkler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Mastache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 minutes Pueblo FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Montenegro who took care of the corner kick. Kevin Mastache received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Boyd Winkler came out and tried to block the shot, but Kevin Mastache slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 16th minute. Boyd Winkler was a little too slow when Axel Montenegro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 2-1. 25 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime McClendon came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jaime McClendon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Jaime McClendon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Boyd Winkler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Boyd Winkler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime McClendon in the 38th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ari Willingham hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Boyd Winkler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 40th minute. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 56 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Tafalla. In the 57th minute Jaime McClendon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaime McClendon's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. With his leg Pedro Manzanares managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Pueblo FC's Vern Wright fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 63 minutes into the game, Greg Shipley threw the ball into play from the sideline. Colombia's Axel Montenegro quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, Pueblo FC's Mohammed Flanagan got a free kick in the 69th minute. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. In the 71st minute, Mohammed Flanagan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boyd Winkler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Secada in the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Mastache in the 75th minute of play forced Pueblo FC's goalkeeper Boyd Winkler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaime McClendon's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Jaime McClendon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vern Wright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime McClendon took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime McClendon, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When Pueblo FC's Jaime McClendon in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Colombia's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Pueblo FC defense, Ignacio Mastache kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boyd Winkler. The Pueblo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boyd Winkler should have stopped the shot. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
