Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donovan Burris's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Agustin Geleberto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the FC Štitáre defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agustin Geleberto. The FC Štitáre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agustin Geleberto should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donovan Burris in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rune Aronsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 22 minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donovan Burris's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Rune Aronsson sent off a good shot on target. Donovan Burris had several of the Venezuela's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 36 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Jonathan Ferrant as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 41st minute Donovan Burris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Donovan Burris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agustin Geleberto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Devan Eiø took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 54th minute Donovan Burris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Donovan Burris ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donovan Burris's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donovan Burris, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Štitáre's Minko Savov got a free kick in the 81st minute. FC Štitáre's Agustin Geleberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 91st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donovan Burris in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. There was no doubt that FC Štitáre were the better team. FC Štitáre's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
