When Zayvion Ispuzua came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Barcelona de América fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zayvion Ispuzua couldn't finish the play. Zayvion Ispuzua received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Manzanares came out and tried to block the shot, but Zayvion Ispuzua slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Montenegro in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tenorio Reiriz saved Barcelona de América from getting behind. In the 19th minute Santino Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tenorio Reiriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zayvion Ispuzua struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barcelona de América. Zayvion Ispuzua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute, Hugo Sitnieks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santino Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tenorio Reiriz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Bradford Scalzo kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, Zayvion Ispuzua recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares. Zayvion Ispuzua showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 40th minute, Zayvion Ispuzua made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Barcelona de América's Tenorio Reiriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Mastache in the 45th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Caetano Levandowsky made a kick off. Tenorio Reiriz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santino Seco in the 52nd minute. 56 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Levandowsky came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Tenorio Reiriz in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 58 minutes into the match, Barcelona de América's goalkeeper Tenorio Reiriz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. Perlaza Lena hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Orlando Tafalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. 75 minutes into the match, Barcelona de América's Caetano Levandowsky sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bradford Scalzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Ignacio Mastache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tenorio Reiriz having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Barcelona de América's Caetano Levandowsky sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 89th minute of the match, Kevin Mastache tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tenorio Reiriz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 93 minutes into the match, Abram Secada dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tenorio Reiriz, 3-2. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Viergol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Barcelona de América players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
