Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ludomir Zacharek kicked off to start the match. GKS Katowice's Ludomir Zacharek came free and shot a quick shot against goal 7 minutes in the game, fortunately Marcos Cotilla had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Felipe Ros kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Marcos Cotilla successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The throw-in from Matthew Garrido in the 11th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by GKS Katowice's Jacek Birkenhagen. After a rather tough play, GKS Katowice's Olgierd Cwojdak got a free kick in the 12th minute. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betão Pontes having to interfere. After 22 minutes, Witomir Misiorowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GKS Katowice and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to GKS Katowice getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Witomir Misiorowski hit a great ball. In the 27th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betão Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Berganza struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Betão Pontes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. In the 32nd minute Abraham Alguacil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betão Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Ludomir Zacharek made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Betão Pontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Cambeiro to maneuver through the defense. Cezary Kasiewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of GKS Katowice booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Barrios didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

GKS Katowice's Lucjan Werra was substituted for Ludomir Zacharek. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Berganza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes GKS Katowice's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abraham Alguacil who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Abraham Alguacil got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Betão Pontes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucjan Werra in the 59th minute of play. Betão Pontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cezary Kasiewski in the 63rd minute of play. Alex Cambeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, GKS Katowice's goalkeeper Betão Pontes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abraham Alguacil. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by GKS Katowice's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abraham Alguacil was slow to take the kick. During this time Panama's players had a chance to rest. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cezary Kasiewski in the 69th minute of play. During the 72nd minute of the match Witomir Misiorowski completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Witomir Misiorowski a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a defensive mix-up in GKS Katowice's zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Betão Pontes came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GKS Katowice's goalie prevented a goal. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Abraham Alguacil put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Betão Pontes. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Betão Pontes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by GKS Katowice's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abraham Alguacil was slow to take the kick. During this time Panama's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Abraham Alguacil almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but GKS Katowice's Betão Pontes did a great save. If Lucjan Werra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. GKS Katowice's Betão Pontes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save GKS Katowice from getting a goal against them. Panama's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
