An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Petri in the 4th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dagoberto Custódio struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Litoral EC - CIMZ. Dagoberto Custódio was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Joestar came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Vitor Cordoba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximiliano Escribano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Vitor Cordoba made a huge save. Jonathan Petri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th play minute Francisco Seco came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Vitor Cordoba. 1-0. After having played for 34 minutes, Dagoberto Custódio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Litoral EC - CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dagoberto Custódio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36thth minute of the game Joseph Joestar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maximiliano Escribano struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Vitor Cordoba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. After 42 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Beldad. Jonathan Petri struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Litoral EC - CIMZ. When Steven Bergwijn came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Litoral EC - CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steven Bergwijn couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Seco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Steven Bergwijn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Steven Bergwijn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Steven Bergwijn's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Joaquin Gayoso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 60th minute, Litoral EC - CIMZ's Steven Bergwijn ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 63rdth minute of the game Steven Bergwijn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Litoral EC - CIMZ's attentive Sílvio Luís Madureira managed to snatch the ball when Jorge Sainz made a throw-in in the 64th minute of the game. Litoral EC - CIMZ's Steven Bergwijn got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. William Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Petri came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fang Yong Qiang made a great header on Litoral EC - CIMZ's corner, it was just that Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso managed to reach the ball for a save. A sloppy throw-in by Jorge Sainz in the 75th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Litoral EC - CIMZ's William Batista. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Steven Bergwijn's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute, Steven Bergwijn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jorge Sainz made in the 80th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Francisco Seco immediately put the ball in play. When Litoral EC - CIMZ's Steven Bergwijn in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguay's goalie prevented a goal. Litoral EC - CIMZ were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Uruguay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jonathan Petri took the corner. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Steven Bergwijn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Steven Bergwijn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Steven Bergwijn kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joaquin Gayoso. That made the score 1-2 in the 93 minute of play. Litoral EC - CIMZ played a much better game than Uruguay and deserved their victory. The Uruguay players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
