Piratas FC's Angelo Rolado got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 6th minute Constantino Idacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilie Grecescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Constantino Idacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilie Grecescu having to interfere. Ilie Grecescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Idacio in the 12th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Piratas FC defense, Gil Magalhães kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raimond Lenk. The Piratas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raimond Lenk should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Piratas FC booed when Fireball Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauã Ribeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ilie Grecescu made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Spyros Zacharioudakis sent off a good shot on target. 26 minutes into the match, Piratas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Pereira came free, but Raimond Lenk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelo Rolado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilie Grecescu having to interfere. Ilie Grecescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantino Idacio in the 29th minute of play. Ilie Grecescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Idacio in the 31st minute of the match. After 37 played minutes Piratas FC got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Errolan. In the 41st minute, Gil Magalhães ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raimond Lenk was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Raimond Lenk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiaguinho Cavalcante in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilberto Pereira was the one to do the kick off. Gil Magalhães could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 50th minute of the match, but Raimond Lenk made a huge save. In the 55th minute, Cleto Onofre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Angelo Rolado put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ilie Grecescu. After 64 played minutes Fireball Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Elivélton Abreu. When Roman Steven came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Piratas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roman Steven couldn't finish the play. Raimond Lenk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gil Magalhães in the 74th minute. A collision led to Fireball Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Cauan Fonseca hit a great ball. Ilie Grecescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Rolado in the 80th minute of play. The supporters of Piratas FC booed when Fireball Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauã Ribeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute, Angelo Rolado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Piratas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Ilie Grecescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelo Rolado's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Piratas FC's Raimond Lenk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Piratas FC from getting a goal against them. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fireball Esporte Clube players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Piratas FC.
