After 9 minutes Fireball Esporte Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gregorio Abalos who took care of the corner kick. Desiderio Iraitz was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 11th minute, Antoine Griezmann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ilie Grecescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After having played for 14 minutes, Bo Lennartsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bicicleta F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Bo Lennartsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tiaguinho Cavalcante hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bo Lennartsson in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ilie Grecescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Naldo Schmidt hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Ilie Grecescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antoine Griezmann went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Ilie Grecescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antoine Griezmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Gil Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the game, Bicicleta F.C.'s Bo Lennartsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ilie Grecescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 40 minutes into the match, Fireball Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Bo Lennartsson came free, but Ilie Grecescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fireball Esporte Clube's Ilie Grecescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Lennartsson in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of Bicicleta F.C. booed when Fireball Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Umberto Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fireball Esporte Clube's Ilie Grecescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antoine Griezmann in the 43rd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Bo Lennartsson made the kick off in the second half. Ilie Grecescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo Lennartsson in the 58th minute of play. Ilie Grecescu came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Bicicleta F.C.'s Antoine Griezmann. But to his dismay, Antoine Griezmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. With his leg Ilie Grecescu managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Bicicleta F.C.'s Mariano Maore fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eleuterio Sotil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Ilie Grecescu made a huge save. The supporters of Fireball Esporte Clube booed when Bicicleta F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antoine Griezmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Bicicleta F.C. defense, Gil Magalhães kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tony Löv. The Bicicleta F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tony Löv should have stopped the shot. Ilie Grecescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antoine Griezmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Bicicleta F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gregorio Abalos in the 93rd minute. Gregorio Abalos made a great header on Bicicleta F.C.'s corner, it was just that Fireball Esporte Clube's Ilie Grecescu managed to reach the ball for a save. Tony Löv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
