Raimond Lenk came out of the goal and Gregorio Abalos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gaston Astrada hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Raimond Lenk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Lennartsson in the 9th minute of the match. Piratas FC's Raimond Lenk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antoine Griezmann in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Spyros Zacharioudakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tony Löv. Bicicleta F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Spyros Zacharioudakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Constantino Idacio kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. If Antoine Griezmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bicicleta F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Roman Steven was slow to take the kick. During this time Piratas FC's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Bicicleta F.C. booed when Piratas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Francesco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Raimond Lenk successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Piratas FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Constantino Idacio hit a great ball. In the 33rd match minute, Bicicleta F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Iraitz to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute Roman Steven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Löv saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raimond Lenk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Segundo Feliu in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Spyros Zacharioudakis in the 43rd minute of play forced Bicicleta F.C.'s goalkeeper Tony Löv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Segundo Feliu came free with the goalkeeper in the 44th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Raimond Lenk could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Segundo Feliu got free with Raimond Lenk in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bo Lennartsson was the one to do the kick off.
