Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alvi Verde's Téo Leite proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Alvi Verde from getting a goal against them. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilbert Ugalde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the game, Alvi Verde's Cuero Buseth nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bert Karlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilbert Ugalde went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. In the 40th minute Peker Suersan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilbert Ugalde in the 42nd minute of play. The Alvi Verde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bert Karlsson made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bert Karlsson in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. Alvi Verde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bert Karlsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Milagros Cabal hit a great ball. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilbert Ugalde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Navarro was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Cuero Buseth capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cuero Buseth really showed his touch with that goal: 1-8. When the match was over Alvi Verde could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Honduras throughout the match.
