Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Abel de Godoi made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th minute Cássio Ferraz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Abelardo Maranhense. Mariano Lacasa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Abelardo Maranhense was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Mariano Lacasa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mariano Lacasa really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Abelardo Maranhense made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Olivedos's Abelardo Maranhense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Olivedos from getting a goal against them. 26 minutes into the match, Abel de Godoi notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Chile's Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Olivedos getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Cássio Ferraz hit a great ball. In the 30th minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Maranhense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abelardo Maranhense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Abelardo Maranhense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute, Cássio Ferraz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olivedos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 39 minutes into the match, Olivedos's goalkeeper Abelardo Maranhense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. 44 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Ferraz came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olivedos's Luisinho Ceresso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thiago Pliego in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Lacasa made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magno Sampaio in the 51st minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olivedos were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Chile's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luisinho Ceresso took the corner. Cássio Ferraz came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Thiago Pliego could save by the left post. 60 minutes into the match, Olivedos's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Abelardo Maranhense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Chile booed when Olivedos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexsandro da Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abelardo Maranhense. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 67 minutes, Abel de Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olivedos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel de Godoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rubinho Chaves was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 69 minutes into the match. Olivedos made a substitution. Lenílson Valadares replaced Abel de Godoi. In a very dangerous position, a player in Olivedos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! Abelardo Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Casaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abelardo Maranhense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abelardo Maranhense having to make a save. Cássio Ferraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Olivedos's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Abelardo Maranhense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abelardo Maranhense came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Olivedos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
