Ludwig Fransson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Alberto Tafalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ludwig Fransson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Tafalla ran back to his position shaking his head. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mexico fully deserved thier win.
