Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Dre Schipmans slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. 16 minutes in the game Primitivo Andino did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Felix Montenegro. Marcelo Gröhe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dre Schipmans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Marcelo Gröhe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
