Ederono Vilardell was a little too slow when Abram Sarmiento got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-1. The corner led Colombia's Axel Montenegro to fire away a dangerous shot which Ederono Vilardell despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's Ederono Vilardell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Seco in the 17th minute of play. After 22 minutes of play, ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's Marco Ruben made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ederono Vilardell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Ederono Vilardell successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 29 minutes into the game, ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's Marco Ruben nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Orlando Tafalla got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Ruben in the 37th minute of play. Kevin Mastache blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ederono Vilardell having to make a save. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abram Sarmiento to make the kick off.
