Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Zézinho Lopez made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jorge Sainz hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the game, Jorge Sainz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sport Club Mavericks's Fernando Lucas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 13 minutes in the game Jorge Sainz did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Camilo Franco. In the 15th minute of the match, Dre Schipmans got a very nice opportunity to score, but Joaquin Gayoso was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Sport Club Mavericks getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Alfredão Paiva hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the game, Dre Schipmans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcelo Gröhe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 23rd minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Dre Schipmans capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dre Schipmans really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 31st play minute Zézinho Lopez came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Dre Schipmans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Dre Schipmans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcus Pinho kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Gröhe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Francisco Seco made a precise shot to the right of Marcelo Gröhe. Sport Club Mavericks's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Sport Club Mavericks's Arnaldo Baiano was substituted for Marcus Pinho. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Seco to make the kick off. Marcelo Gröhe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Gisbert in the 58th minute of the match. Dre Schipmans scored 4-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zézinho Lopez in the 65th minute of play. Bruno Beldad charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Beldad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sport Club Mavericks booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Beldad didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Zhuo Yin Hong kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhuo Yin Hong in the 76th minute of play. Zhuo Yin Hong took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Zézinho Lopez kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 84th match minute, Sport Club Mavericks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zhuo Yin Hong to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Sport Club Mavericks booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Zhuo Yin Hong made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. In the 95th minute, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 7-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhuo Yin Hong in the 99th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Uruguay players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sport Club Mavericks.
