The shot was stopped by Cosme Piorno but with some difficulty. 9 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Cordeal came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Cosme Piorno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Panama's Matthew Garrido got a free kick in the 12th minute. When Rigoberto Cordeal came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rigoberto Cordeal couldn't finish the play. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Cordeal, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Benino in the 18th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cosme Piorno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 23rd minute of the match. Cosme Piorno made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Isidoro Sarmiento sent off a good shot on target. Cosme Piorno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 34th minute. After 37 minutes of play, Panama's Abraham Alguacil made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cosme Piorno was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cosme Piorno was a little too slow when Tomas Berganza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Berganza to make the kick off. Abraham Alguacil scored 3-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cosme Piorno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Cordeal in the 58th minute of play. Cosme Piorno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 62nd minute of the match. After 67 played minutes TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Porfiro. Cosme Piorno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 68th minute of play. Cosme Piorno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Berganza went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cosme Piorno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cosme Piorno saved TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE from getting behind. Panama's Miguel Miralles was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cosme Piorno in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Panama booed when TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliciano Tirso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cosme Piorno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 94th minute Abraham Alguacil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Piorno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
