Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Ediberto Righi in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Luis Sánchez, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Ediberto Righi in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. lןןl La Coconeta's Ediberto Righi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save lןןl La Coconeta from getting a goal against them. Axel Montenegro came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ediberto Righi could save by the left post. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Jiménez in the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, lןןl La Coconeta's goalkeeper Ediberto Righi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abram Sarmiento. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Payero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ediberto Righi was a little too slow when Axel Montenegro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 1-3. A hard shot 45 in the game by Axel Montenegro from a close distance when the talented Ediberto Righi managed to make a qualified save. lןןl La Coconeta's players were relieved. The Colombia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. lןןl La Coconeta were winning 2-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Luis Sánchez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josemir Lujambio in the 73rd minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abram Secada couldn't finish the play. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after lןןl La Coconeta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kevin Mastache took the corner. The corner ended in Joshua Garrido almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but lןןl La Coconeta's Ediberto Righi did a great save. 87 minutes into the game, Ignacio Mastache cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-4. Ediberto Righi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, lןןl La Coconeta's Mauro Camoranesi got a free kick in the 96th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
