Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Gaona kicked off to start the match. Alberto Tafalla scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Ongile, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Angelo Ongile came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The supporters of Mexico booed when RIBEIRÃO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wágner Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukáš Modrić in the 17th minute of play. Angelo Ongile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Luca Zorita notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of RIBEIRÃO FC's Angelo Ongile. Angelo Ongile was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Angelo Ongile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eulalio Peio, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Wágner Alves charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wágner Alves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mexico booed when RIBEIRÃO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wágner Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Ongile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

RIBEIRÃO FC's Angelo Ongile proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save RIBEIRÃO FC from getting a goal against them. 57 minutes into the match, RIBEIRÃO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Angelo Ongile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Mariano Admon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RIBEIRÃO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 62nd minute, which Angelo Ongile however easily saved by the left post. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by RIBEIRÃO FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo to fire away a dangerous shot which Angelo Ongile despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Angelo Ongile made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute, Mariano Admon made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. RIBEIRÃO FC's Angelo Ongile proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save RIBEIRÃO FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 72nd minute of play forced RIBEIRÃO FC's goalkeeper Angelo Ongile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A well-hit corner resulted in Luca Zorita heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 75th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Ongile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Gustavo Gomez Blanco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nelson de Lara hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After having played for 83 minutes, Luca Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luca Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Wágner Alves came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 played minutes RIBEIRÃO FC got a freekick which was hit by Nelson de Lara. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than RIBEIRÃO FC.
