Manoel Berger kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Duarte Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Fontirroig in the 14th minute of the match. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ismael Tejedor hit a great ball. Joshua Miralles got a throw-in 17 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Mario Fernandino. The crowd rose to their feet as Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Duarte Couto. That made the score 1-0 after 19 minutes of play. A hard shot 25 in the game by Mario Fernandino from a close distance when the talented Duarte Couto managed to make a qualified save. Alvi Verde's players were relieved. 26 minutes into the game, Eduardo Fontirroig cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Duarte Couto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35th minute, Eduardo Fontirroig ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Duarte Couto was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Mario Fernandino made in the 39th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Alfonso de la Cruz. Duarte Couto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduardo Fontirroig in the 40th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julio Chicote in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duarte Couto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 43 minutes, Alfonso de la Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolivia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfonso de la Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benito Madrid made in the 46th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Mario Fernandino however managed to control. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Murilo Stein made the kick off in the second half. Duarte Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Fontirroig in the 52nd minute of the match. When Julio Chicote came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Bolivia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Chicote couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Eduardo Fontirroig put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Duarte Couto. Duarte Couto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Fontirroig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Fontirroig in the 68th minute of play forced Alvi Verde's goalkeeper Duarte Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute of the game Francisco Gallo made a throw-in which Alfredo Ferrant played forward. When Eduardo Fontirroig came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Bolivia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Fontirroig couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Alfonso de la Cruz got a free kick in the 90th minute. 94 minutes into the match, Alvi Verde's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Fontirroig came free, but Duarte Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duarte Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Fontirroig in the 95th minute of play. In the 97th minute Mario Fernandino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Bolivia were the better team. Bolivia's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
