Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Candido Platon in the 2ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Itacaruaré FC's Gilberto Dacio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Garcia in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Garcia in the 7th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roque Orlan hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Eriberto Ledesma took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. After 21 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilberto Dacio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gilberto Dacio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilberto Dacio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 32nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Eriberto Ledesma managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itacaruaré FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eriberto Ledesma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 41st minute of play forced Itacaruaré FC's goalkeeper Gilberto Dacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute Marciano Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marciano Garcia to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Garcia came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilberto Dacio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. After 67 played minutes Itacaruaré FC got a freekick which was hit by Roque Orlan. If Marciano Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gilberto Dacio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 76th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Itacaruaré FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Gilberto Dacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candido Platon in the 84th minute of the match. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Eriberto Ledesma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Marciano Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 96 minutes of play, Itacaruaré FC's Candido Platon made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Itacaruaré FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ecuador had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
