Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Fulgencio Berasko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 7 minutes, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustín Saelices was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 尤笑洲 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by 尤笑洲 in the 13th minute. Primitivo Andino got a throw-in 15 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Felix Montenegro. The nice shot from 尤笑洲 in the 19thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Julio Vera had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Fulgencio Berasko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 minutes Doookiee's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig to fire away a dangerous shot which Fulgencio Berasko despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 29th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fulgencio Berasko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agustín Saelices went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 尤笑洲 in the 37th minute of play. In the 43rd minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Berasko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 尤笑洲 made a kick off. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. After having played for 53 minutes, 程镇飞 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fulgencio Berasko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fulgencio Berasko was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fulgencio Berasko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agustín Saelices went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Oliveiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fulgencio Berasko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 84th minute of play. In the 91stth minute of the game 尤笑洲 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 93 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 程镇飞 who took care of the corner kick. The Doookiee fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
