After some careless play in the Paraguay defense, Marten Palermo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Nores should have stopped the shot. When Everardo Colas came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Belfegor FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Everardo Colas couldn't finish the play. Fede Gomes made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Jaime Pardo sent off a good shot on target. If Marten Palermo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 19 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Hector Covarrubias. Marten Palermo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacobo Nores having to make a save. A sloppy throw-in by Walter Erviti in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Paraguay's Jaime Pardo. 0-3 became the score in the 30th minute when Everardo Colas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Colas in the 36th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Everardo Colas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Everardo Colas in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marten Palermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 44 minutes of play, Belfegor FC's Everardo Colas made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacobo Nores was left in no man's land by his defense there!

In the 52nd minute Everardo Colas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Belfegor FC's Everardo Colas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. 56 minutes into the match, Everardo Colas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Everardo Colas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. In the 59th minute, Everardo Colas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Jacobo Nores made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marten Palermo in the 62nd minute. After 64th play minutes Marten Palermo shot 0-9, a short shot which went by Jacobo Nores and just under the crossbar into goal. Belfegor FC made a substitution. Facundo Colidio replaced Walter Erviti. With his leg Jacobo Nores managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Belfegor FC's Marten Palermo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Modesto Bernal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Belfegor FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
