Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. After 10 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Dario Bingen took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. In the 14th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 20th play minute Paulo Rudolfo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. 3-0. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. In the 26th minute Dario Bingen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Paulo Rudolfo was slow to take the kick. During this time Atlético Villa Gesell's players had a chance to rest. The audience was convinced that Hipolito Feliu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Rudolfo. In the 37th minute, Paulo Rudolfo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Villa Gesell fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dario Bingen to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Denis Calvino in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 52nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Jose Correa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Denis Calvino quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Ixidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 minutes of play, Atlético Villa Gesell's Cornelio Ixidor made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 72nd minute Paulo Rudolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Patricio Costa was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 77 minutes had been played. The supporters of Atlético Villa Gesell booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atlético Villa Gesell's Donato Benino was substituted for Paulo Rudolfo. Atlético Villa Gesell made a substitution. Maximino Peyo replaced Gaston Jerardo. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Ixidor came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Dario Bingen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that Atlético Villa Gesell were the better team. Atlético Villa Gesell's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
