Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Benicio Balasi took the kick off in the first half of the match. Silverio Cordearo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 6th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, CA Quake's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Silverio Cordearo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 played minutes CA Quake got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Henry. In the 14th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Cordearo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Benicio Balasi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Silverio Cordearo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind CA Quake's goalkeeper Silverio Cordearo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of CA Quake booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benicio Balasi in the 23rd minute of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benicio Balasi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Benicio Balasi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The CA Quake fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when CA Quake's Benicio Balasi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. CA Quake's Silverio Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 37th minute of play. Silverio Cordearo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After a rather tough play, CA Quake's Victoriano Sustrai got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Aznaro came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Cordearo having to interfere. Silverio Cordearo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 60th minute. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 61st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benicio Balasi in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Silverio Cordearo made a huge save. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CA Quake made a substitution. Igor Jago replaced Abel Inko. 73 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silverio Cordearo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benicio Balasi in the 74th minute of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Cordearo having to interfere. In the 79th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Cordearo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silverio Cordearo made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Ecuador booed when CA Quake was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio Balasi didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, CA Quake's Silverio Cordearo got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 89th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. CA Quake's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luis Andino during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Larra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CA Quake throughout the match.
