With a little luck, Sport Club Mavericks's Amadeu Prado got control of the ball when Agustín Saelices tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amadeu Prado was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. Sport Club Mavericks's Amadeu Prado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 89th minute of play. Amadeu Prado came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Agustín Saelices. But to his dismay, Agustín Saelices quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 13-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeu Prado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ecuador had played much better football throughout.
