Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) ArgenTeam's Jacinto Kimetz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without A.J. 陈义勇 having to interfere. After having played for 6 minutes, Bruno Xabier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ArgenTeam's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Xabier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. A.J. 陈义勇 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 13th match minute, ArgenTeam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Okanay Gazir to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Kimetz came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adolfo Erruki was slow to take the kick. During this time ArgenTeam's players had a chance to rest. ArgenTeam's Adolfo Erruki was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without A.J. 陈义勇 having to make a save. When Alex Chicote fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Alex Chicote a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. After 38 played minutes ArgenTeam got a freekick which was hit by Okanay Gazir. ArgenTeam's Jacinto Kimetz got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, ArgenTeam's Jacinto Kimetz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Jacinto Kimetz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot.

In the 54th minute Joshua Secada suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. When Okanay Gazir was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 54 minutes had been played. Venezuela's Roberto Ocampo was substituted for Joshua Secada. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without A.J. 陈义勇 having to interfere. Bruno Xabier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without A.J. 陈义勇 having to make a save. After 82 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Gisbert. In the 83rd minute, Jacinto Kimetz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jacinto Kimetz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Rian Giggs's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rian Giggs helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to ArgenTeam getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Rian Giggs hit a great ball. Bruno Xabier made in the 93rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. Jacinto Kimetz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. A.J. 陈义勇 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. ArgenTeam's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
