Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zhuo Chao Chuan in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zhuo Chao Chuan in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hector Covarrubias got free with Christian Orlan in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th minute Zhuo Chao Chuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zhuo Chao Chuan took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Paraguay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leo Iigo was slow to take the kick. During this time CE LAJEADENSE RS's players had a chance to rest. In the 20th minute, Udo Nigula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Zhuo Chao Chuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute Zhuo Chao Chuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Udo Nigula managed to get in a good position for a shot. CE LAJEADENSE RS's supporters rose to their feet, but Udo Nigula was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zhuo Chao Chuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhuo Chao Chuan in the 33rd minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Iigo came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Udo Nigula in the 40th minute of play. CE LAJEADENSE RS were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Paraguay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leo Iigo took the corner. The supporters of Paraguay booed when CE LAJEADENSE RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caetano Saad didn't get a good kick on the ball. The CE LAJEADENSE RS fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when CE LAJEADENSE RS's Zhuo Chao Chuan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Renato Quadros was substituted for Jorge Pires. The Paraguay players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CE LAJEADENSE RS were winning 0-3.

The nice shot from Leo Iigo in the 58thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Jacobo Nores had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Leo Iigo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jacobo Nores. That made the score 0-4 in the 59 minute of play. Raul Venegas charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raul Venegas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raul Venegas hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Leo Iigo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 65th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 70th minute, Leo Iigo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CE LAJEADENSE RS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. CE LAJEADENSE RS made a substitution. Anísio Koehler replaced Caetano Saad. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bater Palma in the 76th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Zhuo Chao Chuan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. In the 96th minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Orlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Anísio Koehler ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. CE LAJEADENSE RS played a much better game than Paraguay and deserved their victory. The Paraguay players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
