Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leigh Smith breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jimmy Stride kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leigh Smith saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ferdinand Leluțiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Brixton Celtics was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Luyando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruben Mann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leigh Smith came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ferdinand Leluțiu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Ferrant firmly grabbed it by the left post. 38 minutes into the match, Brixton Celtics's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Leigh Smith reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Ferdinand Leluțiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. When Ferdinand Leluțiu came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Brixton Celtics fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdinand Leluțiu couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinand Leluțiu in the 57th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferdinand Leluțiu in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Ferdinand Leluțiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Ferdinand Leluțiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brixton Celtics's Colin Le Saux was substituted for Bobby Midson. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leigh Smith having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sil Li, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jimmy Stride made in the 81st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jon Whitehead immediately put the ball in play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Leluțiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 92nd minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janusz Pająk in the 95th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
